Skiing up in the Mt D’Arbois sector of St Gervais on Wednesday and the condiotions are very good on piste.
Les Fenils an easy blue is always a good indicator of snow conditions as it faces south and gets worn down to mud very quickly in lean conditions - well this has supperb snow cover! The good quality pisted snow extends all the way down to Betex where you will find ice on the steep bottom section of La Crete as it arrives at the telecabin station.
Over all the snow quality is excellent on Piste at the moment, especially for this time in the season, where heavy traffic often reduces everything to ice. You’ll be glad to know that this year is different!
